  •  DAY 02- 0830hrs - Meet by guide at the hotel lobby and  Proceed by car to Bako fishing village which take approximately half an hour ride and on reaching at the terminal, you will then take a 20 minute boat ride to Bako National park. At the park, after registration, you will then be guided through the natural tracks in search for wildlife. The star of Bako is undoubtedly the proboscis monkey, the big long nosed, pot bellied comedian of the Bako’s rainforest. Nut the star has a supporting cast of long-tailed macaque monkeys, usually patrolling the park headquarters, silvered leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, bearded wild boar, pit vipers and squirrels and flying lemurs that glide from tree to tree.They all perform against a lush backdrop made up of a bewildering variety of plants and animal life. One of Southeast Asia’s smallest national parks, Bako contains the lush variety of vegetation found only in Borneo. After lunch and short break, you will then again be guided to observe the formations of the sandstones that formed along the National park’s shore.

    In the late afternoon, you will start your journey back to Kuching via the same with drop-off at your hotel accommodation                      

  •  DAY 03 - 0815hrs - Pick up from your hotel’s lobby and proceed for a 30minute drive to Semenggoh Orangutan Wildlife Centre. Upon arrival and after registration at the main entranced, proceed for 1.3 kilometer walk/drive to the centre. There you will be guided to the main feeding area to observe the orangutan that came for feeding during the feeding time from 0900-1000hrs and 1500-1600hrs daily. Semenggoh wildlife centre’s area is approximately 653sq hectares comprising of primary and secondary rainforest. There are 27 orangutans which had been trained to fend for themselves, roaming and searching for food. After the observation of the feeding time, proceed back to Kuching and drop off at the hotel.

  • DAY 02 - 0900 hrs -  Depart Kuching and proceed on a four hours journey through the lush green country road and occasionally passing through small bazaars, rubber gardens, pepper farms and dry hill paddy farm on both side of the road. On reaching the Lemanak river, in the district of Lubok Antu, you will then board a motorized longboat and continue your journey upriver passing through the fast flowing river and will occasionally had to alight the boat due to the shallowness of the river.

    On reaching the Ngemah Illi longhouse, you will be welcome and ushered to the longhouse by the locals with the beating of the gongs marking your arrival. As you enter the longhouse, you will be given a glass of “Tuak” (local brewed rice-wine) as a welcome gesture. Later you will be guided through the longhouse and brief about the life, tradition and custom of the Iban tribe who were once described as the most feared tribe practicing “Head hunting” in the yester years. Dinner at the longhouse at later in the evening You will also be entertained to the welcoming dance “Ngajat” by the Iban warrion and maiden. You are free to take pictures and will also be invited to join in the dance. – Overnight at longhouse with basic facilities such as mattress, mosquito netting, pillow & blanket.  – Breakfast/Lunch & Dinner

  • DAY 03 - Breakfast at the longhouse. Witness the blowpipe demonstration and short walk at the longhouse surrounding area inspecting the peppers & cocoa garden, edible and medicinal plants. Embark into longboat and coach for return journey to Kuching via the same way with lunch enroute. Stopover at Semenggoh Orangutan rehabilition center & Sarawak Pottery before returning to hotel.
